December 16, 2008 - CKFinder 1.3 released
A fresh new release of CKFinder is now available. It contains several new features and some security fixes, so upgrading is strongly recommended.
The list of changes is available on the CKFinder web site, so I'll just mention the two features that you will definitely like: the control over the startup location and the ability to select a thumbnail from the context menu.

August 22, 2008 - 3.000.000 downloads!
Wow! Things are working well for us. Exactly one year ago we have reached 2 million downloads, accumulating yet another million now. That's amazing, considering that we are counting only direct downloads, excluding the thousands of systems out there that contain FCKeditor embedded.
Let's move on to the next million, to be reached even faster with CKEditor 3.0. Thanks for trusting us!
